Why NOMO began…

NOMO meaning NOT ON MY OWN was first thought of by the founder Nesia Smith. Throughout life she had an amazing woman right by her side who helped guide her through life’s journeys; from getting a credit card to buying her first home and car. Luckily she had someone on her side to help her through it all but it was still hard because she had never done anything like this before! Like many dreams and passions we have we tend to put them on the back-burner and forget all about them. Several years had went by before Nesia started to take a step into her dreams. When the day finally came to her that she needed to put forth effort, she did just that! Now she is trying to spread to the world and let everyone know that they are not on their own in this uncommon hood we call adulthood. Spreading the knowledge she wish she had in school but had to find out the long and hard way, she plans to give someone the gift of knowledge.
